EMPOWERING FAMILIES, EDUCATORS & CLINICIANS
ASSOCIATION NOUR
Association Nour organizes knowledge-sharing projects, bringing together international, Dutch, and Moroccan clinicians, students, teachers and caregivers.
Our aim is to learn from each other and to enhance global mental health equality for children with developmental conditions and their families.
Here, we share resources and insights from our projects.

Our Core Areas

INCLUDING AUTISM *
Neurodevelopmental conditions appear early in life and shape how children learn and grow.
We focus on autism, learning disabilities, and social communication difficulties.

Since 2012, we have worked with Association el-Ibtissama in Ouarzazate on educational plans for children with special needs. These tools were developed on location, with teachers and volunteers.

AND
COMMUNICATION
Many children with developmental conditions face language or communication challenges.
Here, we share resources and information gathered throughout our projects.
*We use “autism” for what is clinically known as “autism spectrum disorder,” simply for readability. Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition that develops differently in each person. Challenges and abilities differ widely from person to person.
The resources are updated with fresh insights as part of our annual exchange projects.

About us
Our aim is to bring together scientific knowledge and practical expertise to support children with developmental conditions, their families, and educators. Association Nour has been organizing knowledge-sharing projects since 2012, in partnership with Association el-Ibtisama in Ouarzazate.
Knowledge sharing means learning from one another, and it is a pleasure to work alongside our partners in Morocco and beyond. Together, we explore how task sharing can support care and education when resources are limited. This challenge is recognized both in Morocco and in Europe, where care is becoming increasingly costly.
Join our mission
Everyone who works with us in the Netherlands does so voluntarily.
We are grateful for the time and dedication of our volunteers and students, and for our partners in Morocco: caregivers and professionals who generously contribute their expertise.
Your donation makes a direct difference and helps sustain this collaborative work. We are very grateful to every donor who makes this work possible.
